Acumatica Details the Enhancements Coming in its Acumatica 2022 R2 Product Update

Acumatica, the cloud ERP company, has announced details on Acumatica 2022 R2, its second semiannual product update. The new release introduces enhancements to the cloud-based ERP’s usability, localization, financials, and CRM functionalities to help businesses branch out into new geographic markets and improve their targeting of micro-market clients. These updates are tailored to service organizations, contractors, manufacturers, retailers, commerce merchants, and distributors. Acumatica 2022 R2 will become generally available on August 31st.


Aptean Plans to Expand its Apparel and Retail Offerings with New Acquisition

Aptean has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the planning and product lifecycle division of Aptos, a retail technology solution provider. The planned purchase includes the entire product portfolio of Aptos’ planning division, consisting of product lifecycle management (PLM), merchandise financial planning (MFP), allocation, forecasting and replenishment (AFR), and assortment planning (AP) solutions. These features will allow Aptean to expand its presence in the fashion, apparel, luxury, and specialty retail industries. Meanwhile, Aptos will continue to provide its retail clients with commerce solutions for order management, merchandising, and point of sale. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2022.


Constellation Research Releases its 2022 ShortList for No Code/Low Code for SAP Systems

Strategic advisory and analyst firm Constellation Research recently released an updated version of its Constellation ShortList No Code/Low Code for SAP Systems. The report from Holger Mueller spotlights five no-code/low-code solutions for SAP systems that companies should be paying attention to. These include Appian, Creatio, Mendix, Neptune Systems, and OutSystems. Constellation evaluated over forty solutions in the marketplace and selected these companies based on market share, internal research, client inquiries, customer references, partner conversations, and more.


Constellation Research Releases its 2022 ShortList for Robotic Process Automation

Strategic advisory and analyst firm Constellation Research recently released an updated version of its Constellation ShortList Robotic Process Automation. The report from Dion Hinchcliffe spotlights ten robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that companies should be paying attention to. These include AntWorks, Automation Anywhere, SS&C Blue Prism, Rocketbot, IBM RPA, Microsoft Power Automate, Nintex RPA, Pega, UiPath, and WorkFusion. Constellation evaluated over forty-five solutions in the marketplace and selected these companies based on market share, internal research, client inquiries, customer references, partner conversations, and more.


HERE Technologies Achieves its Amazon Web Services (AWS) Supply Chain Competency

HERE Technologies, a location data and technology platform, has achieved its Amazon Web Services (AWS) Supply Chain Competency, designating its ability to help clients solve critical supply chain challenges. Receiving its AWS Supply Chain Competency will help HERE demonstrate its ability as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member to provide customers with the tools and insights they need to respond to customers, boost customer success rates, optimize sustainability, and improve their resiliency in the face of supply chain disruptions.


KeyedIn Launches the Newest Update for its KeyedIn Enterprise Solution

KeyedIn, an SaaS development company, has released KeyedIn Enterprise 7.5, the latest update and redesign of the company’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software. The software will allow companies to use traditional, agile, and hybrid project management strategies to combine top-down and bottom-up approaches, making it easier for them to scale agility. Alongside its expanded project management capabilities, KeyedIn Enterprise 7.5 also introduces an updated user interface, additional agile-focused features for SAFe-focused businesses, more data points for AI-based machine learning, and enhanced team management tools for agile resourcing. Companies using the KeyedIn Enterprise solution have automatically upgraded to the 7.5 version.


Nintex Details its New Nintex Workflow Upgrade Program

Nintex—a process intelligence and automation solution provider—recently introduced its Nintex Workflow Upgrade Program. The news comes on the heels of Microsoft’s announcement that it will be winding down its support for the SharePoint workflow engine in Office365, which many Nintex customers rely on to manage business-critical workflows. As a result, Nintex customers will have to upgrade to the Nintex Workflow Cloud platform. To help streamline the transition process, Nintex’s Workflow Cloud Upgrade Program will provide customers with support and guidance from process experts at Nintex. The company is hosting a symposium on September 13th, 2022, to outline how they will help customers manage the migration.


Phocas Software Enters a Technology Partnership with Sage Intacct

Phocas Software—a business analytics and planning platform for finance, operations, and sales teams—has entered into a new technology partnership with Sage. As a result of the collaboration, Phocas’ products will be integrated with Sage Intacct to make it easier for companies to access, analyze, report, and share the data in their systems. These features can help companies expand their ERP system with consolidated data from multiple sources and use it to monitor business performance, identify opportunities, and improve profitability. Phocas Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Statements, and Phocas Analytics are currently listed on the Sage Intacct Marketplace and are available to all Phocas customers that use Sage Intacct.


SAP and Capgemini Announce a Joint Initiative to Improve Sustainability in the Automotive Industry

SAP and Capgemini have announced a joint initiative to help the companies accelerate the automotive industry’s sustainability. The companies’ sustainability transformation solutions focus on net-zero strategies and business models, sustainable procurement and supply chains, sustainable products and services, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting. Together, SAP and Capgemini’s initiative will provide companies with various cloud-based products and services that improve how they manage their suppliers and supply chains “in pursuit of their sustainability goals.”
